Funerals and Celebrations of Life

'If out of time, I could pick one moment and keep it shining, always new, of all the days that I have lived, I'd pick the moment I met you.'

A funeral ceremony where the eulogy captures the essence of the deceased and truly tells the story of the life being celebrated.

My uniquely personal ceremonies are designed with input from the nearest and dearest to provide the ultimate in farewells to those who are mourned.  Written sensitively and warmly, delivered respectfully and with care.

If you wish to celebrate your loved one by holding the funeral, memorial service or life celebration in a place outside of a Crematorium, I am more than happy to do so.

Funeral Planning - Making Your Own Arrangements

More and more of us are pre-arranging our own funeral services, which not only takes the stress and emotional burden from out families but also gives us the opportunity to say exactly what we want. A service written  confidentially, respectfully and with the assurance that your funeral service will be as you would wish,

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. I am an independent celebrant meaning if you’d still like some more religious aspects to the service including a prayer, religious reading or hymn from any religion then we can incorporate that. Equally, if you’d like no religion included, that is also ok.

No, I can conduct a funeral service at a crematorium, or for burials a cemetery or burial ground, or even on private land if permission has been granted.

I spend time getting to know the family of the deceased and ask lots of questions to get a better understanding of them as a person. This allows me to deliver a personal ceremony, unique to the person whose life we are celebrating. Every element of a funeral service makes it unique and personal including music choices, readings, and the eulogy. I work closely with the family to make decisions about the content of the ceremony.

Yes of course. Some people choose not to have a funeral service, but a memorial at a location of choice. There are less time and location constraints with a memorial service, and you may be able to invite more people.
